The company

Ogilvy is one of the UK’s leading integrated advertising and communications agencies and one of the largest and most influential communications groups in the UK. The company boasts 11 specialist companies with expertise in areas as diverse as PR, design, direct, digital, healthcare and advertising.

The challenge

Ogilvy approached GCS exclusively on a Friday evening with an urgent requirement to find a website tester to start work on a confidential project the following Monday. Due to the tight timescales and the nature of the project, the ideal candidate needed a strong background in website testing and experience working within a digital agency. 


The solution

Immediately after receiving the role from Ogilvy, GCS provided the agency with an experienced website tester, who had previously worked for Ogilvy some time ago. As a result of GCS already having placed 10 freelancers within the agency in the past year alone, the close relationship meant the client had no issues in trusting the recommendation of GCS and the individual started on Monday morning.
