1991 - 1994: How it all began

Chris Bartlett and Martin Cooper walked out of the bank with the £5k overdraft that paid the deposit on GCS' first office in Fulham. Through the early 90s recession, the directors went without salary as a cost-cutting exercise.

1995 - 2000: Growing up

The IT industry and the economy as a whole continued to grow throughout the late 90s and GCS continued to thrive, resulting in a move to the current Reading office in Queens Road and the launch of the London office.

2001 - 2005: A maturing business

The foundations for further success were put in place. A new London office IIP, ISO and the GCS Aacdemy were all introduced to improve the business as a whole.

2007 - 2012: Breaking records

Proving resilient to another recession, GCS continued to grow, smashing company records and picking up numerous industry awards.

2013 - 2016: Investment and growth

Investment in infrastucture, systems and office. Growth in our people and locations. Investment in the business for future growth is key and Chris Bartlett remains as excited about the business today, as he did walking out of Barclays bank in 1991.
